Located at a distance of around 100 kilometers from the capital Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar was the core of the Sathavahanas and the Chalukya Dynasties’ reign and was also a part of the Princely state of Hyderabad. The town is famous for various palaces and ancient temples. A major tourist attraction is the ‘Pillalamarri’ which is a 800 years old banyan tree and its underlings are spread across 3 acres of land.
