Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry - Tanjore - Trichy - Madurai - Kovalam - Allepey - Kumarakom - Kochi - Ooty - Nagarhole - Mysore – Bangalore


Day 1

  • As you land in Chennai, you'll transfer to the hotel and relax.
  • We’ll tour the Gateway of South India, national art gallery and museum*, Fort St. George and the St. Mary's church. (* closed on Fridays)
  • We’ll now drive along marina beach which is the second largest beach in the world. Post that we’ll visit the San Thome Cathedral and Mylapore Shiva Temple before we break for shopping.


Day 2

  • For our halt at Kanchipuram, we’d sojourn VaikuntaPerumal Temple, Ekambareswarar and Varadarajar Temple.
  • As Kanchipuram is popularly known for its traditional and exquisite silk sarees( Kanchipuram silk ), we recommend a visit to the handloom store and shop if you wish to.
  • We’ll now drive to Mahabalipuram to view the spectacular place which is the only surviving shrine temple.


Day 3

  • Heading towards Pondicherry to sojourn this pretty city and visit its famous sphere shaped Matri Mandir and the Pondicherry Temple.
  • The other half of the day, we’ll visit the beach that runds along the city of Pondicherry and relax on its sand.


Day 4

  • Today we’ll stopover the magnificent temple of Brihadeeswara, located in Tanjore. This temple is the second largest monolithic structure. Nandi/ bull ( sacred animal for Hindus) is found in the portal of the shrine.
  • Post our visit to the divine place, we’ll tour the Royal Palace complex houses, prominent library and museums. You'll also get to see the adorable collection of Chola bronzes.


Day 5

  • In the city of Trichy, we’ll halt at the hour of Lord Robert, followed by a visit to the Danish Church and the Rock- Fort Temple.


Day 6

  • We’d pay a visit to the holy Meenakshiamman temple. This temple located in Madurai is popular for its construction and architecture using 1000 pillars which was built in the 1560s.
  • Now we’ll proceed to cruise on the Vembanad lake arrive at Kunarakom. Upon which, we’ll tour he Kunarakom bird sanctuary.


Day 7

  • Reach the heart of backwaters, Allepey. This place is popularly known for its snake boat races.
  • You may opt to De-stress yourself at the resort of we may sojourn backwater cruise.


Day 8

  • In kochi, we’ll visit the Dutch Palace, St. Francis church, Bolghatty Palace, Hill Palace Museum and Bird Sanctuary.
  • Experience the evening life of kochi by shopping for handicrafts or articrafts.
  • We’ll end the day with a visit to the traditional Kathakali dance show.


Day 9

  • Enroute to the Queen of Hill-stations, Ooty, we’ll view the beautiful Ooty lake, located amidst the eucalyptus groves. This lake is known for it'd boating facilities.


Day 10

  • We’ll experience a jeep drive, an elephant ride and a coracle, all in the Nagarhole national park situated in Kabini.
  • You may even opt out to stay back on he banks of the Cauvery river at Bheemeshwari to feel the charm of the Cauvery fishing camp. This place is well known for the Mahseer fish which is the finest game fish in the world.


Day 11

  • We’d drive to Mysore and sightsee places like the palaces, Chamundi hills, Devraj market and the beautiful Brindavan gardens.


Day 12

  • Before we start to Banglore, we’ll tour few more places like Srirangapatna fort, the Ranganatha swamy temple and the Wellesley bridge in Mysore.
  • Once we drive back to Banglore, you'll reach the hotel and check in.
  • You'd tour places like Lal Bagh, Botanical gardens and Bull Temple before we get into the shopping spree at the handicrafts emporium at M.G Road.


Day 13

  • You can grab junk accessories and funky clothes if you manage to steal sometime for shopping.
  • We recommend you to double check your belongings and baggage before you bid an adieu to this magnificent place.
